North Westmeath Trail
Visit the quaint village of ‘Fore‘ and its 7 Wonders before experiencing ‘Fore Distillery‘ and then moving onwards to Tullynally Castle & Gardens – home of the Pakenham family, later Earls of Longford, for over 370 years, roam 26 acres of parkland and discover herbaceous gardens, wild woodland trails, serene lakes and hidden follies.
Heritage & Whiskey Trail
Visit the world’s oldest licensed distillery dating back to 1757 – Kilbeggan Distillery before travelling 40km Eastwards to one of the most famous monastic sites in Ireland, Clonmacnoise and then stopping on your return journey to visit one of Ireland’s most characteristic features – the bog.
